Today's Pattern
私は - 前置詞を伴う副詞句 - (場所)にいます
I am - adverb phrases made with prepositions - time.

私はここにいます。
I am here now.

あなたの仕事は？/ソフトウェアエンジニアです。
What is your job?
I am a software engineer.

彼女は叔母の娘。彼女は母親の姪。
She is the daughter of my aunt.
She is your mather's niece.

あなたは自分がどのような人ですか？/私は楽観的です
How would you describe yourself?
I am Optimistic.

両親はあなたについてなんて言いますか？/彼らは私を単純だと言います。
What do your parents say about you?
They say I am simple.

今どこにいますか？/家です
Where are you right now?
I am at home.

昼食の間、どこにいました？/レストランにいました。

I was at the restaurant.

Sentence Pattern
文法の復習を読むのは好き？
Do you like to read Grammer Review?
はい。私は文法の復習を読みます。
Yes I do. I will read Grammer Review.

be動詞(is, am, そしてare)に続いて場所や時間の副詞が続きます。
The be verbs is ,am and are followed by an advarb of place/time.

場所/時をの副詞は、物事がどこで／いつ起きたかを示す単語です。
An adverb of place/time is a word that indicates where/when something happens
(e.g. outside yesterday, in Japan tomorrow, etc)

私の友達はここにいます。
My friends are here now.

Exercise 2

私は家にいます
I am in the office.

その本は少し前にお店にありました。
The book was in the shop a while ago.

↑微妙な感じだった。お店に売ってるものだからちょっとおかしいのかも。
以下のが良さそうとのこと。
on the table.
in the library.
たぶん本棚とかもよいはず。
in the bookshelf.

おかえり。たったいま家にいるので、リラックスすればいい。お茶どうぞ
(意訳)おかえり。帰ったばかりだから一息ついて、お茶でもどうぞ。
Welcome back, dear. You are at home right now, so just relax. Have some tea.

今日は何してたの？
What did you do today?

ちょっと前にキッチンにいた。私達のお茶をいれたり、豆腐と野菜を料理した。
I was in the kitchen a while ago. I made tea for us, and I cooked tofu and vegetables, too.

いいね、子どもたちは？
That's great. What about the kids?

ロバートとミナは今日学校にいた。
Robert and Mina were at school today.
学校へ勉強しに行っているので、not the
学校という場所に行くだけの場合はat the school.
親が授業参観で学校に行くケースはat the schoolかな。

そうか、明日、私たちは公園でリラックスして過ごせるだろう。
×：Yes. Maybe we can relax and spend some time inside the house tomorrow.

それは駅の前のビルです。
It is the building of the front of the station.

そうだね、あなたもそこにいたとは私も本当に理解できない。私は2回にいた。

Exercise 6

ハチ公は渋谷駅に記念碑がある。
Hachiko has a monument in Shibuya Station.

わたしは(地名)にいます。
×：I am at the (地名)
◯：I live in (地名)
I am at the Rental apartment.

atは正確な場所、完全な住所を示す。
at: exact.
at: compete address.
「東京に住んでいる」は場所を特定できないので、atを使えない。

何時に家を出る/家につく？
What time do you leave home/arrive at home?
21時ころに家に着きます
I am arrive at home 21 o'clock.

Where are your friends?
He live in Shinjuku.
He is at the Rental apartment in Tokyo.

感想

reviewの時に、毎日異なる単語を使って語彙力の向上をはかる
「Do you like to read Grammer Review？」が聞き取れてない。「Do you like to 」を頑張って聞き取る。
質問は、脱線して聞いていいんだろうか。
Can you tell me ~ ??で教えてくれますか？ Can I ask youとセットで覚える。
私はベビーベットが和製英語だと知った。
I knew that baby bed is Japanglish.
